Book this trip
Yeah!! We are already wishing it were June, with its warmth and the best sailing conditions imaginable in the Mediterranean, so, like every year, with Sant Joan around the corner, we’ll depart from Sitges (Barcelona) taking up course to Menorca on board of a gorgeous 15 meter yacht, super comfortable, with 5 cabins, 3 bathrooms, kitchen and living room to celebrate the famous “Festes de San Joan” festival inCiutadella.
Dolphins, breathtaking sunsets, thousends of stars, white beached bays and cristal-clear waters are waiting, as well as an amazing opportunity to celebrate this popular festival, where colours and tradition are combined, lead by horses. We will also visit some gorgeous southern bays: Son Saura, Macarella, Turketa, Trebaluger, etc. where we can swim, do some snorkelling, or just relax and tan.
Wauw, complete relaxation with the summer sun and nature!
• 21st of June
We’ll meet up in the Port “Aiguadolç” in Sitges at 19h. Introductions will be made, and our captain/skipper will explain all the details such as the shared grocerys and the division of the cabins. Then, the big blue is waiting, and we’ll depart heading south. We’ll enjoy a beautiful sunset while sailing, and so many stars! It wouldn’t be surprising if we get a little visit of some dolphins on this passage to Menorca…
• 22nd – 24 of June
We’ll arrive in the morning on Menorca, where we’ll go directly to the bay of Son Saura to anchor in its clear waters, have breakfast and a refreshing bath in this gorgeous heart shaped bay close to Ciutadella. Around noon we’ll take course to the Ciutadella port to anchor in the entry zone and get ready to go ashore to celebrate the Sant Joan festival! Hundreds of horses fill the city up untill Es Pla, were “Els Joscs Des Pla” will take place, a show where riders show their expertise galloping through a pathway formed by the crows, lance in hand, attempting to assemble a small ring
You can’t even imagine the spectacle that is waiting for you once we lift the anchor and set sail towards the south to make small stops in the bays of Turketa, Macarella and Macarelleta, Trebaluguer… Clear waters with incredible colours, white sand beaches, surrounded by pine trees and wild, untouched nature. We will snorkel, swim, strolls on the beach, relax, sleep, read etc. Just relax surrounded by the sounds of nature.
• 25th of June
Time to go back… While we return to Barcelona, once again we’ll enjoy the extensive sea, sunsets and, more dolphins! Whe’ll arrive in Sitges (Barcelona) in the early afternoon, with the perfect memory of Sant Joan you will never forget. Woaah!
Price per person:
The price includes the boat, professional skipper, cleaning and insurance.
It does NOT include food and beverages, the skippers food, gas and possible stayovers in ports (we intend to only refuel in ports). These expenses will be shared between the whole crew (the average expenditure is around 50€ per person extra for this concept).
The itinerary is an indication, and may vary depending on the weather conditions and the judgement of the skipper, who is responsible for the crew’s well-being and safety.

The life on board
It is very important to maintain order on board, inside (personal items in common areas), on deck (cremes, towels, cameras, etc) and while sailing, to avoid accidents or items going overboard.
- Try to save drinking water, the tanks are limited and it is preferable to moderate consumption (in the showers) than to have to go refill
- To use the toilet, specific instructions have to be followed, and paper or any other thing must not be flushed, to avoid clogs.
- As for the electric consumption; don’t leave any lights on, and charge phones during the day.
- Try to avoid going on board with shoes from the street, therefore highly recommended to use a light shoe with white soles to avoid bashing your feet onto anything.
- Eliminate sand from your feet and towels before going in after coming back from the beach.
- Never enter while being wet, to avoid slips and accidents.
- Use cremes (such as sunscreen) on top of a towel to avoid the deck from becoming slippery.
