Program

Saturday

We’ll meet up in Port Aiguadolç Sitges (Barcelona) at 11:00, After presentations and the skipper’s briefing,we will buy food and drink to share, distribute cabins and set sail to the south. The Big Blue Sea is awaiting us with its sunsets, sailing under the immense starry night sky as well as probable visits of dolphins.

Sunday

Arrival in northern Ibiza, we´ll go to Cala Benirras for the first swim and to enjoy a picturesque spectacle: the Hippy drumming party. Then we’ll continue along the west side of the island visiting Comte beaches, where we’ll anchor to spend the night.

Monday

We’ll continue sailing heading south passing the legendary island of  “Es Vedrà”, and visiting the “Cala Porroig” cove, finally anchoring in “Cala Jondal” where you can find the famous “Blue Marlin”, one of more glamorous bars in Ibiza with its festive atmosphere, mojitos and gin & tonics.

Tuesday

Formentera is considered one of the last paradises in the Mediterranean and we’ll visit Espalmador, Ses Illetes and Cala Saona, natural areas with crystal clear water and fine white sand. Famous “Chiringuitos” or beach bars are awaiting us to party view the sunset.

Wednesday

We’ll rent a motorbike and spend the day visiting the island, enjoying the magnificent sunset in Cap de Barbaria and the hippie market, which must not be missed for its artistic and handcraft interest. After nightfall we´ll all have dinner in the Blue Bar, a famous beach restaurant, and enjoy the most typical night activity in Formentera: The beach parties!

Thursday

Back to the island of Ibiza, visiting the capital city –Eivissa- as it is called by the locals, with a wide range of possible activities: A walk around its exclusive marina, wandering round the typical streets full of fashion shops that have made the island famous, bars and terraces where you can have a drink, etc. in the afternoon we’ll continue sailing northward round the eastern part of the island to Tagomago and then to Barcelona.

Life on board

What to pack

It is advised not to pack too many luggage, and if possible, a non-rigid suitcase. The most ideal would be a medium sized sports bag.

  • Shoes with white soles to walk on deck, and flipflops
  • Light waterproof jacket
  • Bathing suits, towel and multiple shirts
  • Sunscreen, sun caps and sunglasses
  • Toiletries
  • Casual clothing, one or two changes

The life on board

It is very important to maintain order on board, inside (personal items in common areas), on deck (cremes, towels, cameras, etc) and while sailing, to avoid accidents or items going overboard.

  • Try to save drinking water, the tanks are limited and it is preferable to moderate consumption (in the showers) than to have to go refill
  • To use the toilet, specific instructions have to be followed, and paper or any other thing must not be flushed, to avoid clogs.
  • As for the electric consumption; don’t leave any lights on, and charge phones during the day.
  • Try to avoid going on board with shoes from the street, therefore highly recommended to use a light shoe with white soles to avoid bashing your feet onto anything.
  • Eliminate sand from your feet and towels before going in after coming back from the beach.
  • Never enter while being wet, to avoid slips and accidents.
  • Use cremes (such as sunscreen) on top of a towel to avoid the deck from becoming slippery.
